Why does darkness feel heavier when you’re alone?

Because it convinces you it’s permanent.
Like this is it. Like nothing changes.

But it does, right?

Always does.
Darkness can sit with you, surround you, even test you
but it can’t fix anything.
It can’t heal.
It can’t move you forward.

We talked about this while working on this piece. About how light isn’t loud. It doesn’t announce itself. It just shows up. Sometimes as a thought. Sometimes as a person. Sometimes as you, on a day you didn’t think you had it in you.

Someone said, “Light isn’t the opposite of darkness it’s the answer to it.”
That stayed with us.

So that’s what this represents?

Yeah.
Not pretending things are fine.
Just choosing not to let the dark win.
