People Suck.

Why do people feel so draining sometimes?

Because not every interaction is meant to be carried.

Some days it’s small talk.
Some days it’s explaining yourself for no reason.
Some days it’s just being “on” when you don’t have it in you.

So it’s not about hating people?

Not really.
It’s about energy.
About giving pieces of yourself all day and realizing no one told you to stop.
About smiling, responding, reacting even when your brain just wants quiet.

We talked about this honestly. How being around people can feel heavy, even when you care. How needing space doesn’t make you rude, broken, or cold. Someone said, “Silence is how I recharge.” That line stayed with us.

That makes sense.

Yeah.
This came from that place choosing boundaries without guilt. Stepping back without explaining. Letting yourself be quiet in a world that keeps asking for noise.

If it feels like permission to take space, to log out, to breathe  that’s enough.
